Zoe Stout, PhD
Dr. Stout is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY36576) with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults facing acute mental health challenges, including suicidality, self-harm, and restrictive eating disorders. She also provides culturally responsive care to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental and behavioral health concerns, including anxiety and depression.
She has significant experience supporting youth and their families during the high-risk period following psychiatric hospitalization for suicidality and/or eating disorders. Dr. Stout understands the importance of compassion, warmth, and collaborative care during these difficult transitions and is skilled in addressing the complex emotional, behavioral, medical, relational, and school-related challenges that often arise after hospitalization.
Her therapeutic approach is genuine, nonjudgmental, and client-centered. She draws on evidence-based treatments, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (CBT-AR).
